The newly refurbished bathrooms with showers are an oasis of comfort. We also have rooms with connecting doors available on request.

The Alpenlodge Valgronda is the perfect holiday hotel for walkers, alpine and cross-country skiers, wellness enthusiasts and all nature-loving connoisseurs! You can look forward to 22 wonderfully cosy rooms, suites and family apartments.
The Alpenlodge Val Gronda is situated on a high plateau at around 1,350 metres above sea level in the hamlet of Tschappina in Obersaxen and forms part of the merged municipality of Obersaxen Mundaun in the Surselva region. It takes just 5 minutes by car to reach the village of Meierhof, where you’ll find a supermarket, a bank, a bakery, small cafés and restaurants, as well as a post office.
The hotel features a restaurant offering à la carte, buffet and half-board options; Bistro 1350 for breakfast; the Stadl, serving traditional regional cuisine; and the Kaminbar for a cosy end to the day.
The restaurant is also open to non-residents from 6.30 pm to 9.00 pm. Advance booking is strongly recommended.
The wellness area covers 1,000 m² and features three different saunas, a brine chamber, infrared benches and foot baths, as well as an indoor sports pool and a whirlpool. Massages are also available. The sauna area is a nude zone and is therefore only accessible to those aged 16 and over.
Dogs cost CHF 25 per day (excluding food) and are permitted in selected rooms – but not in the restaurant.
